Dr. Matthias Stelter
I am an economist and a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Public Health Nutrition, with a background in development economics and applied econometrics. My research focuses on policy measures to promote healthy, sustainable, and ethical food systems, as well as the (public) health implications of plant-based diets. I have methodological expertise, particularly in (quasi-)experimental approaches, surveys, and evidence synthesis. I have a strong interest in the interfaces between science, practice, and policy, as well as in evidence-based policymaking.
