Policy Evaluation Network (PEN)

Regular physical activity and balanced diets offer a wide range of benefits: improved mental health and well-being, lower risks for numerous chronic diseases, and higher productivity and life satisfaction. However, most of this potential for positive impact is not realized. As part of the Policy Evaluation Network (PEN), we worked with 28 partner institutions from eight countries to examine the effectiveness and the implementation of physical activity and nutrition policies across Europe.
